By Nicholas Capuano

Hydrogen electric vehicles are an upcoming alternative to traditional electric vehicles that utilize a hydrogen fuel cell stack instead of a battery. Promising concepts like Hyundia’s N Vision 74 offer both stylish and eco-friendly examples of what the future of sports cars could look like. With the proper infrastructure, hydrogen electric vehicles could provide another option for consumers looking for green transportation without the precious metals required to produce a traditional EV battery.

In this animated short, Nicholas Capuano explains how hydrogen electric vehicles work and some of the obstacles yet to be overcome in making these vehicles more accessible and affordable.
