Why Are Men More Likely To Be Colorblind?

Three Ishihara color tests, comprised of a random assortment of red circles of differing sizes that show following figures in green: 80%, 1/200, and 1/12. A colorblind person would not be able to distinguish these green figures from the red circles that border them.

Approximately 300 million people worldwide are unable to see the complete color spectrum, and there’s a genetic reason for that.
